Spaces can accommodate multiple activities simultaneously, without allowing any single function to define their identity.
From the moment you step into the house, the kitchen is immediately in view, yet the design prevents the entire space from being defined solely by its presence.
Conceived as a console, the few exposed technical elements—the stone backsplash and the tap—take on the role of furnishing objects, becoming sculptural features integrating into the character of the space.
This approach allows the living space to retain a sense of identity beyond its functions: cooking becomes one of the activities the room accommodates, rather than what defines it.
