The talk identified three principles that have become essential to contemporary spatial design:
- nature as an integral presence within human-made environments;
- the shift from single-use spaces towards more fluid and multifunctional settings;
- the role of space in shaping human behavior, experiences, and social interactions.
Through a selection of the studio’s built projects, the talk demonstrated how these principles can be translated into concrete design strategies, combining low environmental impact with high social impact.
Together, these principles frame a more adaptable and interconnected approach to architecture — one in which spaces do more than accommodate human activities, but actively contribute to how people live, interact, and experience their surroundings.
